Breakfast in Miami can be difficult to find. If you are Denny’ed out and don’t feel like waiting on line for IHOP or News Cafe on a Saturday morning (although News Café is definitely worth the wait), one place that you should definitely check out is Gourmet Diner in North Miami. I have eaten here for breakfast several times, and have always been impressed. The actual diner is so immaculate on the inside, that you can actually see yourself in the bathroom mirror… (Being accustomed to New York greasy spoon diners, this impresses me). Not only can you trust the cleanliness of the place, they have fresh flowers on the dining counter and white linen napkins on the tables.

Their eggs benedict is fantastic. What I like even more is that you can order a half portion… ideal for hitting the beach without the pregnant bulge of the typical Miami Sunday brunch!

The Steak and Eggs is phenomenal, but at $22.50 is slightly pricy side, due to the fact that they serve a quality cut of steak, as opposed to an unidentified meat slice of chain restaurants. If you don’t mind a splurge, go for it! You won’t be disappointed.

Even the basic breakfast of bacon, eggs and potatoes is delish… they season the potatoes in paprika, I believe. The outsides are crisp and light… I am guessing that they also drop them in the deep fryer for a split second, but not 100% percent sure on this one.

Clean, Tasty, and undoubtedly Gourmet, I highly recommend hitting the Gourmet Diner for a satisfaction guaranteed Miami Breakfast!

Wow, Had great gourment breakfast in ur beautiful miami. I love all ur pictures with ur beautiful title background like flashing the Lemon. Rose syrup is easily available in all indain stores or indian supermarket. I’ll take the picture of rose syrup brand and let u know soon as I dont want u to cofusion either it’s rose syrup or rose essence. Both are not the same. You dont have to add sugar to the rose syrup. Pls dont follow its instruction on the back as I tried it and its taste was soooooooooo sweet and you can also adjust sweet according to ur taste when u blend it with cold milk. You can also refrigerate if u for one hour to get chillness from the rose milk dont have ice cubes. I am very sure that u’ll enjoy it before going to beach.
